As a successor to the successful Bartang Trail Jack, we now introduce the Trail Jack 2.0! This Trail Jack has been developed in cooperation with Eastbound.
The Trail Jack 2.0 is a motorbike stand that, in combination with the motorbike's side stand, ensures that the front or rear wheel is off the ground. The Trail Jack is intended for (emergency) situations in which work has to be done on motorbikes without a centre stand and no lifting or hoisting equipment is available. Think, for example, of situations on the road. The Trail Jack can be used in combination with the side stand when repairing a flat tyre, greasing the chain or other situations where one of the wheels needs to be off the ground. Even if it has to be done in the middle of the forest, without dragging large rocks or tree trunks to support the bike.
The Trail Jack 2.0 is made of precision CNC-milled 7075 T6 aerospace and industrial aluminium. With its unique 3-piece telescopic design, the retracted length is only 22cm making the trail jack easily fit into most tool rolls.
To use the Trail Jack, lock the front brake with the Velcro strap provided (when working on rear wheel) or put the bike in gear (when working on front wheel). From the right side of the bike, push the bike further onto the side stand, so that the wheel should then be clear off the ground. Now place the Trail Jack on a pre-selected support point, for example under the swingarm, engine block or sump guard, in a place where it cannot slip. Then gently let the bike come back and rest on the Trail Jack. The bike is now standing with one wheel off the ground. More information in the detailed instruction manual.

One of those really practical pieces of kit that comes into it's own when changing a tyre or clean/lubing a chain when you have no centre stand. Light with a thin profile (unlike it's owner!), it fits my tool roll easily. As usual - professional and speedy service from Bartang.
The Trail Jack works perfectly for removing the rear and front wheels on our Yamaha Tenere 700. Recommended!

Strong, highly adaptable and compact... essential for all dirt bike for maintenance and repair in the field.
Thsi small but very useful device give me the ability to care my chain or fix something. Not only on the rear wheel. If i hook the Trail Jack at the Engine Protector in the right position and adjust the right length i am also abel to lift the front wheel . And this without the need for help from a second person.
I own an Tenere 700 which has (with all the stuff on it) an weight of more than 230 kg.

In het verleden al een paar keer met stenen en stukken hout gesleept onderweg. De trailstand is een prima ding. als enig minpunt zou ik willen opmerken dat het onderste dopje veel te klein is is voor een zachte ondergrond. In de kamer thuis kan ik hem niet gebruiken want dan glijd hij weg op het parket. :-(
